I invite you to consider stepping up to the realm of leadership within the Southern New England Association of Technical Professional (SNEATP), an Alumni Extension of the National Society of Black Engineers within Region 1 and live the chapters objectives along with the NSBE mission; To increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers that excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.
The nomination period has been extended to Tuesday April 24th 11:59pm. Please send all nominations to Parliamentarian @ sneatp.org. You may nominate yourself or others for elected positions only. Please review our chapter bylaws and election packet information or contact L'Wade Lewin, Parliamentarian at Parliamentarian @ sneatp.org with any questions you may have.
If you accept a nomination, please complete the Elections Packet and return to parliamentarian@sneatp.org by May 8th. Voting for candidates will commence May 13th - May 18th 2012, and will be done so electronically, where than you will be made aware of the results via email, and will be introduced as a new officer during the Annual Awards Banquet.

-Submit a letter of intent in running for office
-Must submit election packet, prior to the elections
SNEATP is presenting three scholarship opportunites - one to pre-collegiate students, one to undergraduate students and another to a graduate student.
The pre-collegiate scholarship is courtesy of Glenn A. Cassis
and will be awarded to a graduating senior who is entering into an engineering, math, science,
or technical program at an accredited college as a freshman in the year 2012.
The undergraduate scholarship is courtesy of Eugene Campbell and the graduate scholarship is courtesy of Ralph Phillips and both are being awarded to those
who impact the community.
